  I had the pleasure of attending this restaurant in the middle of no where!! To my surprise the decor was excellent and the food was extremely tasty. Kelly the waitress was really awesome. I have heard than the Mayor of Toronto frequents the restaurant. I am not surprised!! Great food!!

  Just left after a very tasty breakfast brunch. The food was very good but the service was slow and they kept running out of food and plates at the buffet. It felt like they weren't prepared for the number of guests.

  A little out of the way, but worth the drive. The atmosphere was nice, service was great and the food was even better. I ordered the meatloaf burger and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. The portions were also very good for the price.

  A friend and I had Sunday brunch at Jacx today... We have been here before but this will likely be our last time. We arrived around 12:30 and the sign said the buffet ran until 2:00. First, they ran out of cutlery. While they had someone quickly grabbing clean (hopefully) silverware from the dishwasher, they ran out of plates. At one point there were 7 or 8 or us milling about waiting to head to the buffet. The food was tasty but the chaffing dishes were mislabeled and were frequently empty. I pulled a 3 inch long piece of string out of my slice of stuffed pork roast... good thing I didn't choke on it. I noticed a piece of walnut on the dessert tray... I'm allergic to walnuts... but none of the desserts were labeled. When we finished eating we waited for at least 15 minutes before going up to the bar to ask for our bill... others had their bill brought the table. When I checked my bill I noticed that they had charged me $16.99 per person rather than the $13.99 which was clearly displayed on a menu right beside me. When I mentioned the mistake I was rudely informed by the woman who seemed to be in charge that the price on Mother's Day and Father's Day was higher. I stated that the higher price was not on the outside sign or posted anywhere inside. Her reply as she walked away was "Well that's the way it is"! I just looked at the young woman at the till and told her at least she had done a good job... I hope she got to keep the tip I gave her, it wasn't her fault... Sadly, disappointed...
